Esports is more than just players

Esports is not just about players. While they often take the spotlight, behind every stream, tournament, or even a single match, there’s a team of people without whom the event wouldn’t happen. Managers, referees, analysts, organizers, production crews, partners – all of them help create the environment in which a player can shine.
It’s important to emphasize this, especially in the regional context. When we talk about developing esports, we can’t limit ourselves to brackets and individual achievements. We need to see the full picture – how the scene is built, who supports it, and how career opportunities open not only for those behind the keyboard but also for those working around them.
Local initiatives, new formats, and tournaments create a growing need for professionals in various roles. This is a space for people who want to grow in esports, even if they don’t see themselves as players. New roles appear, teams are formed, and consistency begins to take shape. That consistency builds trust – from audiences, partners, and future investors.
We believe that growth happens when every role is recognized and supported. When a tournament manager knows their work matters. When media covering the scene have access to events. That’s when we get not just activity but a full ecosystem that can handle pressure and keep growing.
Esports is about teamwork, even if not all of it happens on screen. And it’s our responsibility as a community to recognize that contribution. Only then can we build a scene that doesn’t rely on a few names, but stands on a foundation of collaboration and shared effort.
