Last Sunday marked the end of one of the greatest esports events of this season, DreamHack Dallas 2024! Among many popular esports titles, it also featured our beloved football simulator, EA Sports FC 24.
Our partners at CyberLive!Arena could not miss such an opportunity, and thus, Fico and JokerTole from the Croatian division, accompanied by Neerven from the Polish division, made their journey to the US to participate.
The event featured 256 participants divided into four qualifying groups, playing in double-elimination brackets. The top 16 players advanced to the playoffs for a chance to compete for a total prize pool of 100K USD, as well as the 2 spots at Esports World Cup 2024 for the two best players.
While the guys started on a high note, unfortunately, none of them made it past the Group Stage. It is worth noting that Fico made it to his bracket’s final but faced the future DreamHack Dallas 2024 winner, EmreYilmaz, a famous player from the Netherlands.
Still, we are immensely proud that our Croatian players took part in such a massive event. We wish them good luck in the upcoming DreamHack Summer 2024, set in Jönköping, Sweden.
